A hyperrealist ( photorealism). He paints still lifes with photographic precision, using the techniques of the old Dutch masters, but with a contemporary use of color and elements.
Javier comes from an artistic background and began painting in his youth. He received his art training from the well-known Spanish painter Mila Gomez. After this training, he became a professional painter. He has a hyper realistic painting style. Applying the technique of the old Dutch masters, but with a contemporary use of color and composition. Like the old masters, he works mostly on panel. Simple vibrant still lifes with glassware, fruit and liquid in uncomplicated settings, but superbly lit. His paintings are very serene in color, shape, texture and detail. They are generally only 30 x 20 in size. Works by Javier are widely in private collections in the Far East, Europe and America.
