We would like to invite you and your art-loving friends to the festive opening of the new duo exhibition; Ben Kleyn & Tos Kostermans on Sunday, February 2 from 2:30 p.m. at our gallery in Oisterwijk.

Ben and Tos will also be present during the opening.

Ben Kleyn (b. 1962), self-taught artist from Rotterdam, began his career drawing portraits and later developed into a renowned photographer. Today, he creates unique fish landscapes, combining acrylic paint with 20 to 110 coats of epoxy. This labor-intensive technique results in three-dimensional works of art, with fish swimming serenely among aquatic plants in unusual bowls, dishes or tightly polished blocks.

 

 

 

 

 

Tos Kostermans (1958), an established name in the art world presents, “The New Impressionism.” After successful series such as “The Bold & Beautiful” and exhibitions at the Hermitage Amsterdam, he comes with a new refreshing series of paintings. During his walks, he captures images with his camera and translates them to his canvas through innovative techniques. The epoxy gives a breathtaking 3D effect. A modern interpretation that uniquely captures the natural beauty of our environment.
